Join us for Nature Thursday, a unique Outdoor StrongStart session where families can deepen their connection with nature! Every Thursday, we invite you to explore Abbotsford’s diverse parks, discovering the beauty and wonders in our local environment. Together, we’ll explore different habitats, engaging all our senses as we play, walk, and learn in the natural world around us.

Program Details:

• Fall Schedule: Starting September through November, if weather permits. In case of rain, sessions will be held indoors at our StrongStart location.
• Winter Schedule: From December through March, Nature Thursday will be hosted indoors, giving us a cozy environment to continue learning and playing.
• Spring Schedule: Outdoor sessions will resume in April and continue through to the end of the school year.

Program Highlights:

• Friendship with Nature: Build lasting connections with nature as we explore and learn together.
• Sense-Based Activities: Engage all your senses in fun, interactive activities in the great outdoors.

Go Play Outside uses play's power to connect the community through accessible arts, heritage, culture, and recreation programming. The program provides free drop-in activities in parks throughout Abbotsford, encouraging participation from all ages and abilities. Go Play Outside also hosts community organizations, artists, and recreational partners.
