Support for Single Mothers
The Open Door
The Abbotsford Open Door provides support for single mothers with programs for mothers and their preschool children.
Meetings are Tuesdays from 9:45 a.m. till noon at Bakerview Church [2285 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford].

M.O.M.S. - Mentoring of Mothers Society
The MOMS Program provides a friendship network that encourages and equips moms to be the best that they can be by creating a 'safe
place' to share struggles related to raising a family. A curriculm-based childcare program is offered for preschool aged children up to
the age of 5, as well as a nursery for infants.

Provides individual support, anger awareness group sessions, and recreational programming such as fathers-only camping trips and
weekly floor hockey (Sept to June) with a particular emphasis on young fathers.

Provides group programming and community outreach to fathers and their children under the age of 6. This includes father and child
Saturday morning breakfast and play sessions, Tuesday night father and child dinners and play sessions, fathers-only building activity
